CENTRE 360: A turnkey solution to start your battery regeneration business
18 September 2026At the Be Energy centre in Malaysia, teams receive in-person technical training alongside Regen Academy’s e-learning modules. The programme focuses on mastering lead-acid battery regeneration techniques and operating BRT Master Pro Duo machines.
Sharing our expertise is an integral part of the support we provide to our partners. In Malaysia, we work alongside Expet Control, our local partner responsible for operating the centre, to prepare the teams for their future roles. Our approach combines foundational knowledge, initial hands-on work with batteries and further in-person technical training.

Regen Academy: learning the fundamentals before hands-on practice
The programme begins on Regen Academy, our dedicated e-learning platform. Before attending in-person training, technicians complete the modules on lead-acid batteries. This gives them the knowledge they need to understand the principles of regeneration and begin their first practical tasks.
The teams then carry out their initial tests on batteries. This stage allows them to become familiar with the equipment, apply what they have learnt and identify any challenges.
We build on this preparation to tailor our on-site support to the technicians’ needs and answer questions arising from their practical experience.
In-person training to develop battery regeneration skills
Ahmad, our R&D manager, provides on-site support to complete the teams’ training. His role is to consolidate their learning and share additional knowledge not covered in the e-learning modules.
Building on the initial tests, he helps technicians master lead-acid battery regeneration techniques and machine operation. In-person training provides opportunities to refine a practical skill, clarify a procedure or explain a result directly at the equipment.
Our goal is to enable the teams to work independently and methodically. We want them to master the regenerator controls, understand the treatments performed and know how to interpret the results.
BRT Master Pro Duo machines with two regeneration lines
Our centre in Malaysia is equipped with BRT Master Pro Duo regenerators featuring two independent regeneration lines. This configuration allows treatments to run in parallel and helps organise the workshop’s operations.
These machines include programming, cycle monitoring and performance analysis functions. During training, we guide the teams through these features so they can use them in their daily work.
For us, mastering the equipment goes hand in hand with mastering regeneration techniques. This connection underpins the entire training programme.
One tonne of regenerated batteries, three tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided
By training local teams, we also share a practice that helps extend the service life of lead-acid batteries and limit premature replacement.
According to our data, regenerating one tonne of batteries avoids three tonnes of CO₂ emissions. Our regeneration process also has a carbon footprint 50 to 70 times lower than conventional recycling.
Extending battery service life reduces the need for new batteries. Regeneration therefore comes before recycling, which remains necessary when batteries reach the end of their useful life.
Sharing our expertise to develop local skills
Through this new Be Energy centre in Malaysia, we support Expet Control in developing skills that can be applied directly in the workshop. Regen Academy modules, initial testing and in-person training form complementary stages of this learning process.
Our commitment is to provide both the equipment and the knowledge needed to use it effectively. This enables the teams to develop their battery regeneration business and meet their clients’ needs over the long term.
