Visakhapatnam or "VIZAG" is the economic capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh, and constitutes an agglomeration of 5 million inhabitants. It is a very active industrial city and is the main Indian industrial port of the Bay of Bengal.
It is also a very important naval base for the Indian Navy.
Large industrial areas host refineries and one of the largest steel plant in the country (VIZAG STEEL - Indian national company).
It is in the latter that a conference on the regeneration was given to the various executives of the company all concerned by the improvement of the lifetimes of their batteries.
Locomotive batteries, forklifts, tractors, stationary, UPS, telecom ... all types of batteries are present on this very large industrial site.
The opening of the new battery regeneration center in Vizag opens the prospect of significant reduction of their OPEX in terms of batteries.
The inauguration of the regeneration center was preceded by a gala evening in the presence of many guests all involved in the management of batteries, whether industrialists, transporters, logisticians, telecom companies or even military personnel from the Indian Navy ... all expect significant savings through the regeneration of their batteries.
The center of Vizag is the second regeneration center after that of Hyderabad.
Long live and success to the entire Vizag team!
